Terms and Conditions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales and installations of photovoltaic systems and related services provided by Foteini Energy Ltd, hereafter referred to as "the Company," registered in Cyprus. These terms serve as an agreement between the Company and the Customer, who engages the Company's services.
2. Definitions
"PV System" refers to photovoltaic systems and all related components such as panels, inverters, and mounting systems.
"EAC" stands for Electricity Authority of Cyprus, the main energy provider and regulator in Cyprus.
"Interconnection" means the connection of the PV system to the national grid as governed by EAC.
3. Product and Service Overview
The Company offers PV systems that include photovoltaic panels, inverters, support bases, and necessary installation services.
Products offered are from reputable manufacturers and come with a standard manufacturer warranty of 25 years for panels and 5 years for inverters.
4. Exclusions
The quoted price does not include any fees payable to the EAC for interconnection terms, which are the responsibility of the property owner.
Additional charges not included are building work, solar and compressor relocations, EAC box enlargement, bird deterrent mesh, provision of ethernet cable to the converter point, and carrying out a property electrical loss check.
5. Procedure & Guidelines:
Initial Steps:
Once the offer is accepted, a project engineer from Foteini Energy Ltd will contact you to arrange a site visit. This visit is crucial to verify the specifics of our proposal and ensure that all your requirements are met.
Following the site confirmation, you are required to make an advance payment to initiate your order. Subsequently, our applications team will provide you with the necessary details and the required documents for the submission of the licensing applications.
Contracts and Interconnection:
After your initial approval, the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) will issue two key documents. The first is the Interconnection Agreement, which needs to be signed and returned along with the applicable fees. The second document, the System Agreement, will be forwarded after the first is finalized.
It is essential for you to inform us once you have completed these steps (payment and contract returns), allowing us to schedule your installation.
Installation and Inspection:
Following the installation, our team will prepare and submit the project plan to EAC for the final connection approval.
Prior to the EAC inspection, it is necessary for the property owner to conduct an electrical assessment to identify any potential electrical deficiencies. Should deficiencies be detected, they must be rectified before the EAC inspector approves the installation. Failure to pass the inspection might result in additional charges and a subsequent re-inspection.
6. Warranties and After-Sales Support
In addition to the manufacturer's warranties for the supplied products, Foteini Energy Ltd commits to a prompt response (as soon as possible within the next three working days) to inspect any reported issues after installation. We also provide a two-year operational guarantee from the date of system interconnection.
Our company maintains a comprehensive inventory of products to ensure immediate availability for service, maintenance, and after-sales support.
Before interconnection, the property owner must ensure that an electrical inspection is carried out to identify any potential electrical losses.
7. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals and for ensuring compliance with local regulations before installation.
Foteini Energy Ltd will assist in the preparation and submission of all required documentation for system licensing and interconnection.
In the event that the agreement is canceled for any reason, 10% of the total offer amount plus VAT will be deducted from the advance payment.
